Parts of Photographs

from by Sol de Heer

Limbs off, further chance
Sightly each clay
Fashioned too bright
At least for the day

Passed through lower land
To find I'm this way
An all seeing eye?
A blinded parade?

Could not be the same
All on their own
The presence, the past, weren't over

Shift gear onto ground
Waters away
Threads running deep
A winding parade

Nothing mattered so much as a singular thing
Themselves part of photographs I've put on the wall

Sol de Heer Melbourne, Australia

Sol de Heer first started making music when his parents bought him his first guitar. This gift was perhaps an effort to deter him from the make believe world of tennis racket guitars with skipping rope leads. Then began his continuing evolution as a singer songwriter/composer.

Apart from writing songs, Sol creates music for film, media and documentaries.
